The 350 m (1,150 ft) tall Lotus Tower, commonly known as the Colombo Lotus Tower, is situated in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It has been referred to as a landmark that represents Sri Lanka.
After the guy-wire-supported INS Kattabomman in India, the tower is the tallest self-supported structure in South Asia as of 2019. It is also the 11th tallest tower in Asia and the 19th tallest tower in the globe. Originally, it was planned to be built in the Peliyagoda neighborhood, but the Sri Lankan government eventually changed its mind.
